Marshall Farris has 25 years of experience assisting public and private companies with corporate operations, capital development, corporate communications and regulatory compliance activities. As the founder and President of Ascenta Finance Corp., Mr. Farris has participated in raising over $125 million in capital financing for public and private companies. Mr. Farris has completed the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s Exempt Market Products Course.

Mr. Farris has held management positions in various public and private corporations over the course of his career.

Additionally, Mr. Farris is a co-founder of the Ascenta Foundation, a 100% volunteer-run charity that provides urgent medical, dental, optometric and surgical services to medically underserved communities around the world. Marshall is also involved in various British Columbia based private businesses including property development in Fort St. John and food & beverage development and management focused on the South Okanagan wine region.

Tracy Mabone

Director & Chief Compliance Officer

Tracy Mabone has over 20 years of experience in the legal and financial industries. She ensures that Ascenta Finance meets all compliance regulations and is the key contact for investors and facilitates the closing of financings for the firm.

Tracy completed the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s Exempt Market Products Course and Officers’, Partners’ & Directors’ Course in November, 2011 and is a member of the Private Capital Markets Association’s Fintech and Innovation Committee.
